This photo below was taken back in 2009 in Casablanca Airport. This is a sculpture named “A Modern Moroccan Woman” and is a wonderful visual explanation of the concept.

Take a close look: One side of the figure wears long hair and traditional clothes, while the other side is indistinguishable from Western girls.
