“Peer Gynt”, music by Edward Grieg

No, I am not going to insist you read the book. I hope you have! You might have even enjoyed it back in the day. Which book am I talking about? Why, “Peer Gynt” of course, a mystical, philosophical and transcendent fairy-tale (in a form of a play, in verses, FYI) based on Norwegian folklore, written by Henrik Ibsen.

Instead, I thought of offering you a piece of classical music. The piece is so well-known, that many-many people do not even know who created them! I do not mean that Coca-Cola commercial or anything of that sort. I mean the original creator, the author of this musical piece, without whom there would have been no tune for commercials!

The story is “Peer Gynt”, the music is by Edward Grieg:
